Have you ever went onto Apple’s web, wanting to trade in your old device thinking it would be worth some 100 dollars only to be told that it is worthless? Well, that actually happened to me and inspired me to devote my time in constructing this organization.
I used to own a MacBook Air 2015 11in which I bought for around 1000 dollars (10万円). As it was getting older, I decided to move onto a newer device. At the same time, I thought that I could get maybe 1 or 2 hundred dollars off for my new laptop though Apple offered me only 20 dollars. I Wasn’t satisfied with that amount and I decided to sell it on a online free market called “メルカリ (Mercari)” On there, I was able to sell the laptop for 150 dollars.
Like this, depending on where you sell your tech, no matter if it still works or not, It can have much more value than you think. We here would like to give the opportunity for you to support charitable causes by collecting and selling your old laptops or phones.
